Yes, 2014 is coming to an end. It has been some year, some year indeed. A year of self discovery, joy and pain, tears, and laughter. Making new friends, and departing with ones who you thought were friends. Family time and friend time. New jobs , and new adventures. Strength beyond the weakness. Oh my, what a year this has been. Fear not sweet friends, and loyal readers; for this adventure and journey of my life continues on. 2015 is going to rock!
Many blessings, and a Happy new year y’all!
Only three days left here in good old 2014. What a year it has been, no need for re-caps. But so looking towards the newness of a new year.
Soon the ornaments and lights will be packed away for another year. Tree folded back into its box, and put away. Indeed, this has been a super duper season of joy for me.
Time to start thinking about my new modified 365 a year. Will start it on Jan 3rd. Keep your eyes open. Hope you all have enjoyed your Christmas season. And have A blessed year.
To all my joyful readers and friends, A very merry Christmas to all. Last night I indulged in a bit of the vino.
Today, it will be Chicken and dressing, and maybe a bit more wine. So here is to a great day. My mom and dad are on the way, and I have the chicken in the oven. Got Die hard on. Urban cowboy later. Here’s to Christmas 2014. Have a merry one.
Well it is upon us, yes, that is Christmas Eve, the weather outside is cold, and I hope it warms up a bit, not sure if it will or not. So thought mom and dad would be heading down here today, but dad has to work, perhaps if he gets off early enough, they can head this way, if not, then they will be leaving out early tomorrow. Can’t wait.
I have work today, but I get off at 3:30 today, hopefully earlier if possible. I want to just wish all of my readers and friends, a very merry christmas, and to keep it fun, and always safe.
To my friend Olivia, on her blog and post, if you care to check her out and send her some prayers for her upcoming mission trip, I don’t think she would mind, here is the link to her blog site. Click Here.
I am so happy for you Olivia, God will take care of you as you go about with His work.
My bed has come! Yes, my readers and friends, it only took one year and five months; but it is finally parked nicely in my bedroom. Indeed, indeed I will be laying sweetly tonight, no more air mattresses.
So saw mom and dad off. They will be back on Christmas Eve, and spend Christmas day with me. This I must say, feels so very special. I have grown over this year, see it , and feel it. Being here feels so right. Life, well it is coming about. God is doing awesome things for me.
So today is officially the first day of winter! It is mild, I am hoping for a not so cold one here. Here’s to having a great holiday.
Usually, I do not get out on foggy, damp days like this, unless I have to be out in it. Well, today was an off work day for me; but instead of staying put this morning, I was up and at em’. Up at four, did dishes, washed clothing, and took hot bath. Was out of the house by 8am this morning.
This foggy, wet morning I felt like a walk in the park, so that is where I went. I walked down to the park and took some photos of the last days of Spring, for winter is Sunday. So my little stroll in the park yielded these photos.
The leaves that were on this tree a week or so ago, now, laying on the ground.
It was a nice walk. I have to start back getting it together. I have seen a decline in my health, and I want to get back to being healthy. To be continued!
So my very good friend has started herself a blog on WordPress. I am so happy. She will also be heading to Honduras on a Christian mission. Send prayers out to my friend Olivia. This woman I admire, a very good friend.
Now that I am back in the apartment, I am sitting here , watching Ghost Protocol. Also watching my tree as it twinkles with lights, and the ornaments sparkle. Life is good.
