Thank you for calling…

How may I help you today?  Yes!  I passed my sign offs for training, and I did really good.  The trainer was even awed, but really, he wasn’t because he had confidence in me.  In fact in the whole class, there are just a few more sign offs that need to be done in this training class, and we graduate on Friday.  Yes!  I am now an Agent for a known purple and orange shipping company, for the website.  Anyhoo, I am still getting my shipping legs underneath me, I took a couple of calls today, oh my, but it is what it is, people are going to be people, the most part they were nice, and understanding, there were some that were not to stellar, but hey, not going to complain at this time in my life, I am blessed to have a job. Will get schedules Friday, it will be the 1 to 10pm spot for now, after 6 weeks, then we can bid on what schedules we want, I think for right now, I am going to keep what they give, there will be more time in the evening to get a better grip on the job at hand.  Stay tuned.

This has been a pretty exhausting week, and it is still not complete.  So I have been contemplating going down town this Saturday, to check out the last days of south by, ah, so much to think about.  If it happens, it happens, if it don’t  you won’t hear or see it.

I am now on season two of Arrow, this show is amazing.  Totally love it, totally.  I am now in season three or is it four of Agents of Shield, whatever it is, this show totally rocks as well.  2016, shaping up to be a good year in television.

So on that note, I need to get to my shows, stay tuned friends, family, and online readers.  I will keep you as informed as I can through my blog.  Enjoy your night.

The Wheels on my mom’s car go round and round.

My mom is learning Austin like a pro.  Today she made it over to the arboretum, and the sam’s club, the other day, we went to the domain and the walks of the arbors, where Sam Moon is, she drove it.  I am proud of her.  usually we take the bus, to different places, there are places here that she knows how to get to by driving, and she pretty much knows her way around round rock and George Town, so Austin, is getting its work out as well.  We go on the bus first, then she drives it, by that time, she sees that we don’t have to go this way or that, and where she can turn off to get to a place faster, so cool.  She loves it here, and getting to know all of Austin has been pretty cool as well.  Since I don’t drive, I take the bus, when needed, but know, if we go out, she drives it, so the bus rides are getting fewer.  Of course there will be times, and situations, where the bus will be a must, but also know that the car is an option as well.

Plus, the time is coming fast, that I will be in training, and won’t have the days off to just go and hang out, so trying to get it all in now, that work/life balance thing is still something I am trying to figure out.  I am ready to get back on the job, don’t get me wrong, being able to sit and watch shows like crazy has its perks.  I just finished season two of Wentworth, this show is pretty dang good, I highly suggest the watch.

Well that time is upon us, you know…  Tax Time, I am still waiting for my w-2, then I am off to get it filed, have to go to another free place this year, but once it is all done, I will be so happy it has been taken care of for another year.  Well, once again, today has been a nice sunny day, yeah, this is me loving this winter season here in Austin.  Until the next time readers, here’s to a great day.

The Truth Is Still Out There…

Oh so excited about the X-Files returning, even though it is six or nine episodes, it should be really good, I saw some of the previews and yeah, I am really thinking that I am going to enjoy this.  I already have been having a ball watching Heroes reborn, so cant wait till next week for the X-Files.  I watch the show on netflix, up until Fox leaves the show, that is where I really stop watching it.  Hey, nothing is better than Fox and Dana, and when Fox left the show, it was no more interesting to me.  I did happen to watch the movies, they were alright, yeah, just alright.

But I am so, so, sooo!  Glad that The Black List is back on, missed it in the couple of months it was on hiatus.  Ugh, but now just all yays.

The weather is hot and cold here, one week, great weather, sun shine, and blue skies, the next, cold, dreary, and gray.  Yeah, sure winter, winter, winter is here, but I would rather have sun shine and warm, ah, to be continued on that one there.

On a brighter note, I have an interview on Tuesday, keeping all my spirits bright.  So enjoy your night friends, and remember, the truth will be revealed, no matter what.

Amazing show

I don’t know where this show came from, but it is a Marvel show, it is called Jessica Jones, and I just finished watching the last episode on netflix last night, it is Amazing.  Woah, with a Capital Woah!  It was a little slow going in the beginning, but it blasted out of orbit as I continued to watch, I am pretty much drooling at the mouth, wondering when the new season will begin.  I will say, that if you haven’t watched it, Go, go now and watch it, It is on Netflix.

What A Game…

Mom bought the first season of The Game of Thrones.  My, my, my and a game it is.  Awesome storyline, great acting, could use less nudity; plenty of carnage, in all I say…  Where the heck have I been all this time.  I am going to have to do plenty of catching up.  This show is awesome!  I practically stayed up till midnight watching it, knowing I had to be up at four am to get ready for work, oh yes, I may suffer today on the grind, but I do knowing it was well worth it.  I  have a new obsession!  Let the games begin!

Love knows no ending

Five years ago, I fell madly in love.  With the show Justified!  Yes,a television show like none I have ever seen.  It had gorgeous characters and brilliant writing.  I was hooked when I laid my eyes upon Deputy Marshall Raylin Givens, as played by timothy Oliphant.  It was a love affair that lasted six seasons.  Oh yes, we have had out differences; but overcame them.  Oh he left a trail of bodies from Miami to where it ended in Harlin Kentucky.  From the first scene with him telling one Tommy Bucks to leave Miami in 24 hours or he would shoot him.  To which he did, shoot Tommy bucks that is; to his  show down with or drawdown with Boone in the end.  It has been one hell of a show, with everything in between.

Yes indeed, I am madly in love with this show , love knows no ending; even though the show ended this year, and I have all the seasons for my collection.  I totally love the ending and how they wrapped or tied it all up.  I swear, most shows leave you with a fairly bad taste in your mouth, Justified was not that kind of show.  Sure, it could have continued to go on( I wish it would have), but the way they closed it out was top notch writing and superb acting.  For that I thank you Graham Yost, And the late Elmore Leonard.  This was truly a show for the ages.  If you have not watched it, download or go buy the DVD.  I highly recommend.  My love for this show has  been Justified!
