Worth it.

So I got a new phone about a week ago.  Seeing as my phone was about to bite the big one, it has been in a death spiral for a couple of years now.  So it was finally time to do it.  I got the same kind of phone my mom has, and she loves hers; and as I have observed as well as shot photos from her phone, I knew I wanted one as well.  What phone you say waiting patiently to hear.  I got the Note 5.  I do say it is incredible.  I love being able to share my photos and videos between the phones just by touching the phones together, super cool.  The photos come out super clean, and clear.  Front facing camera is so amazing as well.  Totally loving this phone.  No more headaches from fighting with lag and freeze time.  Definitely one less thing to think about.

So went down to marble falls today, nice ride, fed the geese and ducks; very relaxing.  My mom and I were heading over to see if we could see if the dams were still letting water out, as they were yesterday.  Only got a photo with regular camera, and it was not that great quality.   But there was none today, so went to feed ducks and geese at the falls.  Here are a couple of photos I got.   Today has been an awesome day.

Awesome Finds

Yesterday me, mom, and dad went on a little day trip. To Marble Falls.  Which is a gem of a place, it was beautiful and peaceful.  This place had good fishing spots, something we have been looking for since moving here, now we found it.  It is about nine miles out of Burnett Texas.  There are fishing places in Austin, but this place is gorgeous.  I love day tripping, and always have fun when with my mom and dad that way. But that is a story for another day.  Today is a day of photos from my day trip to Marble Falls.  Enjoy.

Another thing I saw on our way to marble falls, was in Burnett Texas, they have an air museum.  They are also having an air show in September, and I am hoping that I can attend that.  Too Soon to tell, but keeping fingers crossed, since I have a thing about air shows, and have missed them for so many years.  It would be good to get to one.  Another story for another day my friends.

Ho, ho, ohhh you know… Let get on with it.

Merry Christmas family, friends, and online readers…  Much has gone on this week.  The biggest thing for me is I got laid off from my job, well not only me, but a whole lot of people got the axe.  A week ago.  I really did not hit me for a couple of days that I was jobless, but none the less, here I am, in the process of looking for new work.  I had my little pity party the day I got canned, now all that is done and over with, and it is now time to look, and search hard for a new job.  I have put in aplications, and I am so very thankful that my mom and dad live here, because they can help me out a little with things.  I am positive everyday that I will be getting a new job if not today, tomorrow, in the coming weeks.  Hey, new year, new job, new insight on life.  I am not worried, I know I will get something really soon.  That was really the biggest thing that happened to me over this week, and today it is Christmas day.  I am loving life, and enjoying it with every day The good Lord sees fit for me.

Today, mom and dad, and I went for a ride out to Waco, TX.  I do love long rides, since I don’t drive, I am a awesome rider.  The weather was cloudy, and there was a winter nip in the air, it was a pretty perfect Christmas for me.  Just about the way I like them to be.  Since I am not a cold weather person, I prefer to have a blue sky kind of winter Christmas day, hey, it is just the kind of person I am.  For me, the weather has been awesome.  Still like a spring /fall kind of week.

Soon the year will be ending, and a new year will be starting, I look forward to  another beginning.  Here’s to a very merry Christmas my friends, family, and readers.  Hope that your day is just as Merry.

Easy like Sunday morning

It actually was an easy Sunday morning for me yesterday.  Woke up around 9 a.m., did some dishes and a load of laundry; then headed out the door to go to the HEB down the street to buy my weekly bus pass.  Made a stop at the target, then Ross and Burke’s.  I then got a call from friend, who came by and we took a impromptu road trip.  It was nice, we went to Black where she grew up, got a nice lesson, we also went to Mansfield Dam, And I saw Lake Travis.  Spectacular.  Here are a couple of shots I got by way of phone.  I took some camera shots will post later when I have time.  I love Sunday drives, or in my case Sunday Rides.  Enjoy your work week fans.  🙂

Just after the major storms, it was a very nice day to be out on the pond, line out, trying to catch some fish.  We did not catch any, oh well, still a great day.  This is Red bluff.  Great fishing spot.  Had gone back to Angelo last weekend. So we hit the pond.  I surely miss that calming time.  Enjoy friends.

Hop, skip, and jump…

Back to San Angelo it was.  I had three days off last week, and my mom drove down picked me up and we headed back to San Angelo for the day, I actually stayed 1 and a half days, but it was all good, got a good start back to Austin Sunday Morning.  It was nice seeing actual nice weather heading back to Angelo, because it has been nothing more than gray and wet here in Austin.  Of course the weather has turned back that way, but it was still nice being in in the sun.  Here are a few photos I took on the trip.

So the trip back was cool, started to hit rain the closer to Austin we got, in all, I had not been back to Angelo since I got sick last year, but always nice to see old friends, to which I did, but always good to be back home in Austin as well.  I surely miss those long rides, but I am sure that I will get more in.  Enjoy your day friends.

Not the best picture I could have taken from my phone, the vehicle was in motion.  This is a photo of the sun setting; on my ride with my mom back to San Angelo, Texas.  Yes, I have come back for a little visit.  Having three days off from work, I will be heading back to Austin tomorrow.  I need more beautiful sunsets and sun rises in my life.  Enjoy.
