Ho, ho, ohhh you know… Let get on with it.

Merry Christmas family, friends, and online readers…  Much has gone on this week.  The biggest thing for me is I got laid off from my job, well not only me, but a whole lot of people got the axe.  A week ago.  I really did not hit me for a couple of days that I was jobless, but none the less, here I am, in the process of looking for new work.  I had my little pity party the day I got canned, now all that is done and over with, and it is now time to look, and search hard for a new job.  I have put in aplications, and I am so very thankful that my mom and dad live here, because they can help me out a little with things.  I am positive everyday that I will be getting a new job if not today, tomorrow, in the coming weeks.  Hey, new year, new job, new insight on life.  I am not worried, I know I will get something really soon.  That was really the biggest thing that happened to me over this week, and today it is Christmas day.  I am loving life, and enjoying it with every day The good Lord sees fit for me.

Today, mom and dad, and I went for a ride out to Waco, TX.  I do love long rides, since I don’t drive, I am a awesome rider.  The weather was cloudy, and there was a winter nip in the air, it was a pretty perfect Christmas for me.  Just about the way I like them to be.  Since I am not a cold weather person, I prefer to have a blue sky kind of winter Christmas day, hey, it is just the kind of person I am.  For me, the weather has been awesome.  Still like a spring /fall kind of week.

Soon the year will be ending, and a new year will be starting, I look forward to  another beginning.  Here’s to a very merry Christmas my friends, family, and readers.  Hope that your day is just as Merry.

To be continued…

Well perhaps this bit will be told with dazzling lights, and super good memories.  Ok, so I am all a buzz with delight.  I am also hoping that tomorrow nights adventure goes without rain, even though it is in the forecast.  I will be heading out to the trail of lights, my first time, and I just hope that the rains stay back until I have experienced this.   I will be experiencing  it with a very good friend, and that keeps me in good spirit and plenty of smiles.  So I am hoping to take some pretty pictures, and once that is done, I will post them here on my blog for all to see.

Life has been so busy lately, with all the family moved down here, and with the craziness that has been work, time is moving on, and moving forward, soon it will be the end of this year, and the start of the new year, to which I say…  Bring it!.  I continue to pray for better and that life gets more and more sweeter and richer for me and my family and friends.

May your days and nights continue to be very blessed, and may you all have all that you strive for.

It’s So Hard, To Say Good-bye…

And on that note…  It is a wrap folks, not just a season finale, but a series finale of Justified.  I have heard, that the final episode, was the best ending.  Now I don’t know but I do believe it had all the things people had come to love about this show.  Yes, I have been a fan since the first time my mom popped that first dvd into the player and we sat and watched, I was hooked.  From the action, to the well played lines between the characters.  So very sad to see this show end, but all good things, must come to an end.  One of my favorite quotes is from the lead character Raylin Givens, talking to one of the bad guys that just took his hat and put it on his head.  Raylin says…  ” Son, that’s a ten gallon hat, on a twenty gallon head ”  I just about died laughing, and that is what this show was to me, laughs, tears, and thrills.  Thank you Justified, for 6 years of quality episodes.

So with that being said, now I just have to go out and buy the last two seasons, and I will have all six for my collection.  If you have not ever seen this show, I highly, highly, highly reccommend it to you, go out get the dvds, and watch it!

Not what I expected…

So the other day, I had an outing downtown, I went to the capitol, took some photos, then just browsed around, well I got hungry, so I decided to see what the to do about PTerry’s was about.  I knew they had opened shop on sixth and congress, so I just skipped on down there.  The line was long on the inside, mostly people waiting to get the food they ordered, the ordering line itself was not long.  So I looked at what they had and placed my order.  1 cheeseburger with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and the sauce.  1 side of fries, and 1 caramel milkshake.  I waited for 20 min, then obtained my order.

So the slogan goes…  Never been better, well I think it could have been much better.  I paid $7.04 for all that you see before you, and it really could have been much better.  the milkshake really just tasted like a vanilla shake with caramel sauce, the fries were a bit too greasy and the burger did not have enough flavor to it,  It bordered on the bland.  If I had to give this a score from 1 to five I would give it a 2.  In fact I just gave it a 2, meaning to me it was an alright burger, nothing fancy, and nothing in my opinion to go over board about.  That’s just me, and this is just one more thing I have tried in Austin.

On to the next thing my friends, hope you have a great day, I sure will.

This must be magic!

Oh my feet!, my feet, they feel so good, these shoes with the memory foam must be magic I say!  I have just been on my feet walking home from the bus stop, now I have walked all the way down to the library here, and I say, my feet feel so good.  What is this magic, I don’t understand it all, but I am going to walk till I have walked all the memory out of these shoes, and then I am going to purchase another pair, oh my, oh my, this is wonderful!

Just wanted to convey how awesome these sketchers are.  That is all my loyal, now you can return back to your regularly scheduled programs.  Toodles!
