In her element! Mom taught us a love for fishing, well a strong like anyway. Fishing was fun, just go out and sit snd throw your line out there. We have had many fun time doing just that, as well as shooting the shit. Long talks, special times, fun times. Made at a fishing hole. This was Lake Marble Falls, in marble falls texas. Sweet, sweet memories. I love you mom.
Much love, indeed these two had been married for 30 years. But had known one another since childhood. You could definitely see the love with them.
This photo was the first time mom had gone to The Blanton Museum. It was a fun day after we got there, before it was a little nerve wracking, only because we took the bus, and we walked down to the museum, and I was figuring out which way to turn, but once I righted myself, we were on our way, and she loved it. I never did get a chance to take her to other museums around Austin, but she really did love this one. This is the stacked waters wall she is standing in front of. It was a very fun day indeed.
Well today anyway. Today the weather is cloudy, rainy, humid and calm. Yes, it is a pretty quiet Saturday. You know the kind that makes it feel as though it is not even a Saturday. So the rents and I took a little trip to Brady, TX. Just to get some barbecue. Sure there are tons of bbq places in austin, heck I really do need to get some, and do a comparison. Anyway, the ride was great and the bbq sandwhich was delicious.
If you happen to stop in Brady, Texas this place will not dissapoint.
So I got a new phone about a week ago. Seeing as my phone was about to bite the big one, it has been in a death spiral for a couple of years now. So it was finally time to do it. I got the same kind of phone my mom has, and she loves hers; and as I have observed as well as shot photos from her phone, I knew I wanted one as well. What phone you say waiting patiently to hear. I got the Note 5. I do say it is incredible. I love being able to share my photos and videos between the phones just by touching the phones together, super cool. The photos come out super clean, and clear. Front facing camera is so amazing as well. Totally loving this phone. No more headaches from fighting with lag and freeze time. Definitely one less thing to think about.
So went down to marble falls today, nice ride, fed the geese and ducks; very relaxing. My mom and I were heading over to see if we could see if the dams were still letting water out, as they were yesterday. Only got a photo with regular camera, and it was not that great quality. But there was none today, so went to feed ducks and geese at the falls. Here are a couple of photos I got. Today has been an awesome day.
That would be getting that spring cleaning done, and also getting my balcony ready for it. This year I really want to decorate it. Get it looking all beautified and decked out. There are a couple of things I saw, that I think would look good on my patio. Here are a couple of things I took a photo of, that I have been thinking of.
Solar glass art ball. Think this would look awesome.
Galileo outdoor thermometer. Always liked the indoor ones, now getting one for the outside. Along with patio table, chairs and perhaps plants and bench stools. Ah time to start planning stage 1 outdoor. To be continued.
Week 52: ( picture this )
So the 52 week project has come to an end. This being the last photo. What do you think, have these photos made you think or feel anything? For me, well at the ending months, it became harder to find things I wanted to photograph or put in. I made it through none -the-less. This is something I am glad I did. What is next you may or may not ask, that I do not know, but whatever it may be… stay tuned.
As for this photo, took it at the local wally world. I have never had snails before, and they looked interesting. For a photo, not to eat. Ick! Would you ?
