Worth it.

So I got a new phone about a week ago.  Seeing as my phone was about to bite the big one, it has been in a death spiral for a couple of years now.  So it was finally time to do it.  I got the same kind of phone my mom has, and she loves hers; and as I have observed as well as shot photos from her phone, I knew I wanted one as well.  What phone you say waiting patiently to hear.  I got the Note 5.  I do say it is incredible.  I love being able to share my photos and videos between the phones just by touching the phones together, super cool.  The photos come out super clean, and clear.  Front facing camera is so amazing as well.  Totally loving this phone.  No more headaches from fighting with lag and freeze time.  Definitely one less thing to think about.

So went down to marble falls today, nice ride, fed the geese and ducks; very relaxing.  My mom and I were heading over to see if we could see if the dams were still letting water out, as they were yesterday.  Only got a photo with regular camera, and it was not that great quality.   But there was none today, so went to feed ducks and geese at the falls.  Here are a couple of photos I got.   Today has been an awesome day.

Day 298:

Today I am…  Not a Happy Camper!  This morning while laying on the couch with my phone in hand I turned it to the light, and what do I see?  Yesh!  A Crack, I have a cracked screen, it is an arched crack, but a crack none the less!  It must have happened yesterday at the festival, I dropped it, and I guess it was one drop to many, because now there is an arch crack in the screen.  Oh if it isn’t one thing, it’s your mother…  Well you get what I am saying here.  So now I am going to have to take sweet precaution with this phone until I can get a new one, and I am praying it will either be before the new year hits, or sometime early in the new year.  I have had nothing but problems with this phone since I moved down to Austin.  No, no, no, not happy at all!  But enough about my phone.

Yesterday was good, wish I had company to share all this with, but once again, it was a solo adventure.  Yes, had a good time, got some nice shots of the bands, Here are just a few that I captured.

 

The day was long, not a cloud in the sky, good weather, but boy was I tired when I left, didn’t get to stay to see the entire thing, but what I did see was amazing once again, these kids can sure put on a show.

Back to work tomorrow for me, my hours have drastically been cut, but at least I made enough this week, to pay what needs to be paid, the rest, well, I will not worry any about it, God has it all in hand.  So am excited to see sister and dad, that takes place Wed.

I am already thinking about Christmas, and decorating, this time around I am going to get that white tree, and I am going to decorate around the apartment, I saw some really cool flat led lights I am looking to get, once I obtain all this, I will let you know with photos.  Until then, it is only a thought that is forming in my mind.

Day 161:

Today I am…  Seriously Thinking.  About getting a new phone that is, sure I have a pretty decent phone, it is the Droid Razor Maxx, but here it seems to be a P.O.S, I think we all know what those abbreviations stand for.  Ever since I arrived in Austin, my phone has been doing it own thing.  It will not hold a charge longer than 6 hours and that is if it is not being used at all.  Today I left it in my locker at work for 2 hours at 60 percent power, when I got out of work, it was as dead as dead could be.  So this just let’s me know that I will be bringing my charger to work with me and charging it up before I go out on the production floor.

There are times I would like to smash it, but then I would have no phone, and that is no good.  So I am going to start looking into something new in the next couple of months.  I have my eye on the Galaxy, or the note 3, but who knows, once I really start looking, something other might just catch my eye.  Stay tuned.

Day 134:

Today I am…  Dissatisfied!  With the way my phone has been acting.  Ever since I moved to Austin, my phone has been out of whack.  It lags and freezes, and I am just about tired of it, sometimes I want to just throw it against a wall, but then I won’t have a phone at all, so I put up with its temperament.  I can upgrade, but I need my money for other bills that keep on rolling in.  My phone is still a great working phone, but seriously I am going to be looking into a new one sometime in the new year.  Whatever that time is, I know it will be a Samsung phone, either a galaxy or the note 3, to be continued on that.

I feel as though I am really close to getting another client at work.  I am doing well on the clients I have, with two more clients I will become a tier 2 analyst.  That means a few pennies more, lol.  I want to get enough clients to become a tier 3, but let’s just stay focused on getting that 5th client.  Stay tuned.

Was up by six this morning, got my cup of coffee from the valero, and headed out for my walk down to the park and back, the weather is a bit humid this morning, and a bit cool, but looks like it is going to warm up more as the day goes on.  This is what I like, and by wed and Thurs it will be in the 90’s, still weather that I can deal with, anything over that, well I have to say that is too hot.  I am getting back into it, gonna take me a bit to catch up with the walking, but I know that I will be able to walk longer and further in time, and by summer, I will be feeling awesome, and looking just as good.
